Plot
Delia Ballmer, a nurse at the agency, met Sweeney, who confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend. Ballmer rebuilt her life, only to confront Sweeney seven years later after he was arrested for a second murder.
Based on a true crime story
Bodies were dumped in canals in Rotterdam (not Amsterdam) and London. Top-notch acting by all involved, which made it difficult to watch at times, but also exciting television.
In this case, you thought they gave a fair representation of both sides
I often cringe at real-life dramas because they soften the situation for one side or the other. I don’t remember the original story, so it felt quite fresh to me.
I would recommend this film as a quality TV series
We watched the show in one sitting, even though we didn’t intend to, so that’s saying something. The fact that she seemed so expressionless made her even more believable, and the pace at which we moved through key elements of the story kept the suspense going.
