Plot
Following the events of Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, is making a play to seize the reins of Gotham’s crime world. Aside from a bat-sign in the final shot of the season finale, we never got a Robert Pattinson cameo in «The Penguin.» In this short video, IMDb tries to answer: Where the hell was Batman? Colin Farrell fought hard to make The Penguin smoke tobacco in Batman (2022), but he didn’t succeed. In his own series, however, the character is depicted as a casual smoker, preferring to smoke cigars.
Farrell STOLE this series

There’s nothing cartoonish about it
There’s nothing about the character that suggests Farrell. The New York dialect, the swaying and limping, the attitude: I swear it’s a different person. The amazing prosthetics are so realistic and further enhance the character. The show is gritty and graphic.
It’s well-written and tight
It’s a great match for Christopher Nolan’s Batman. In fact, I’d say it blows Marvel’s line out of the water. I hope there’s a season 2, but I know it’s limited. Too bad.
HBO has a legitimate hit
