Plot

A retired CIA agent is hunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when an unknown man suddenly visits him after nearly three decades. Production was shut down in March 2020 due to government restrictions. During that time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with and treated for non-Hodgkin lymphoma. After his recovery, the series returned to production. Bridges called the return a «long weekend» in a podcast in July 2022. Appeared at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards (2024). I watched this miniseries for Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow. They never disappoint, but the story and writing did. Much of the plot was full of holes and the supporting cast often felt wooden. A thriller like this should never bore the audience at times. Unfortunately, that happened to me.
