Plot
Mufasa: The Lion King will task Rafiki with passing on the legend of Mufasa to the young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, while Timon and Pumbaa bring their signature stunt. Told through flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned, lost and lonely cub until he meets a friendly lion named Taka, heir to the royal bloodline. A chance encounter sparks an epic journey for a group of wildly misfits in search of their destiny – their bonds are tested as they work together to escape a menacing and deadly enemy.
