In a mysterious and surreal interstellar zone between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Negin and Nazgol, elementary school students, find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and try to retrieve it. Meanwhile, Massoud guides a group of increasingly confused tourists through the sights and historical sites of Winnipeg. Matthew leaves his meaningless job at a government office in Quebec and embarks on a mysterious journey to find his mother. Space, time, and personal identities intertwine, intersect, and resonate in a surreal comedy of distraction.
