Then came Dexter: Resurrection (2025)
I went into this with pretty low expectations and was mostly just excited for Resurrection. The opening of the first episode was awful with the editing and the CGI cop car and I thought «oh, this is not going to work».
Just one episode left and I’m hooked!
By the end of the first episode I was already eating crow as the actors embodied their characters perfectly and the story showed immense promise. While we already know most of the backstory, the first episode contains a few surprises that add depth to the characters we’ve come to know and love and give some backstory to the choices the characters make.
