I waited 4 episodes for this to really sink in for a long time. The goal was to give us a chance to appreciate the gift that the many A-List actors who contribute to the creation of this work have given us, which is well-received by many despite mixed reviews. Many of the stories have been told from a similar angle to the audience, but here the spectacle remains exciting when you deal with a more confusing but well-crafted plot, each of which confidently captures our attention every time they appear. We can’t say whether this sense of urgency will remain at the same level as it is now, half way through, as we discover more and more of what’s going on, but considering the subject matter covered, the budget, and the talent pool they were able to bring this to the screen, it’s going to be hard to miss the landing, mainly due to the series’ solid foundation.
